This one didn’t turn out as well as I wanted it to. I wanted these pictures to look like my cousin’s face in the clouds. It looks a little fake to me, but I hope it looks realistic enough though. I used a tutorial that showed how to make a photo look like a sketch. I wanted to only use the highlights of my cousins face to look like it was barely there.

One of my roommates always wears these flower clips in her hair. We have a vase of fake flowers on our kitchen table and while I was sitting there I noticed that from the angle that I was at, it looked like one of the flowers in the vase was in her hair. I told her not to move, went and got my camera, and captured the shot.

The second photo I thought I would throw in just for fun. I took this on my Europe trip last year. This was toward the end of our trip when we started getting sick of taking normal travel pictures.

Photomerge

The above photos merged extremely well. It was pretty fast to create once I had the actual photos. It was fun to see how Photoshop actually merged the photos together and knew where to match lines up. I didn’t have to edit this picture at all. The only thing that I did was increase the saturation +10.

Panoramic Photos

This week was pretty fun. I took these four photos right before sunset on a back road in Rexburg. These ones are the best and merged the best out of all of the photos that I took. The sky happened to be just perfect at this time.

Edit: Photobook Spread

Photowithphotos

For my photobook spread I used a photo taken earlier this semester of the sunset. The photo wasn’t large enough so I actually copied the layer, made the canvas larger, and moved it over. I then clone stamped and masked out the blemishes that were showing. I just created square boxes and put clipping masks on the photos into the boxes.

I began this project taking many photos each day and choosing the best from each day. Unfortunately, I went home to Utah this weekend and while there my SD Card accidentally was re-formatted and hence, I lost all the photos that I took this week. So for the past three days I have been taking photos like crazy trying to get a number of shots in different places, at different times of the day, and with different subjects and compositions. So here they are.
